It’s so hard to believe that summer is (almost) officially over. Every year summer seems to go by so quickly, and I find myself wondering where it went and why didn’t I get a chance to say goodbye. This summer came and went particularly fast because of my move to grad school. Before I get too far into the fall, I do want to take a few minutes to recap my summer and give it a proper goodbye. So here are my summer 2014 highlights.
To start, I graduated from Virginia Tech (technically end of spring, but close enough).
I explored Eastern Europe for two weeks with my best friend Jordan and 30-some other awesome people from around the world. See more pictures at this post.

I got a new car: a 2015 Mazda CX-5! It’s wonderful and I love it.
Kevin and I visited a lot, which included my first ever trip to the New Jersey shore.

Jordan joined my family for a weekend trip to New York to see “Aladdin” at the New Amsterdam Theater! Super awesome show. I highly recommend it!
And finally, at the end of July, I moved to North Carolina and started graduate school at Elon University. It’s been an adventure already and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings.
