Y’all know I love a good cheese and meat plate. Naturally, for Peach Month, I had to create a cheese board inspired by fresh, juicy peaches. This board got me out of my cheese comfort zone a bit, but in the end I love how it came together.
Peach cobbler is an essential in the Southern cooking toolkit. It appears at nearly every dinner party or cookout over the summer, especially when peaches are in season. Since I don’t have any large parties, tailgates, or other gatherings at which to share a normal sized peach cobbler, I worked on something a little different: Personal Peach Cobbler!
August is National Peach Month—a whole month dedicated to the South’s favorite fruit. In past years, I’ve shared peach recipes throughout the summer, or for one specific week in August. This year, I’m celebrating peaches all month long, and I’m kicking off Peach Month with a Southern favorite: sweet, tart Peach Lemonade.
