Happy Friday, y’all! It’s time for the third round of the Be Bold in 2016 linkup series. In case you’re just joining, Be Bold in 2016 is a linkup series for all bloggers to share their goals and intentions for the year. So far we’ve talked about our words of the year (mine is “care,” by the way) and our blogging goals. This week, it’s all about our health goals! Jump on in!
I’m pretty sure that every year that I’ve made resolutions or set goals, at least one of them has been health-related. That’s the thing to do, right? For some reason, health goals seem to be the hardest ones for me to set, and maintain. It just feels so cliche to say, “I’m going to go on this trendy or fad diet,” or “I’m going to start going to the gym 5 days a week,” or anything of the like. I think it’s important to set goals for my health, but I hate to fall into the cliche or fad of setting health goals just for the sake of setting them, and not actually following through with them.
My health goals need to be right for me, whether they’re cliche or not. Maybe I need to get in better shape, but I’m going to set my goal beyond just getting in shape. I’m setting a goal for how I’m going to do that.
