Mondays aren’t always the easiest days of the week. Sometimes I feel like I need some serious motivation to get my Mondays going. Do you ever feel that way, too?
Today, I’m sharing some Motivation Monday thoughts. I stumbled upon this quote somewhere online last week–I think on the cover of a planner I was looking at–and I really liked it. So, I played around in Photoshop and designed a graphic for it. Maybe it will inspire some of y’all too. (And it was a nice opportunity to practice my graphic design skills.)
Because, really, happiness is everywhere. Everywhere.
How do you motivate yourself on tough days? Do you have a favorite inspirational quote?
I stumbled upon this on Ashley‘s Instagram feed this weekend, so I decided to take part myself! The more happiness spread and shared, the better, right?
{1} A cup of coffee (or more) every morning and a nice cup of tea every night, to help me wake up and face the day, and sleep peacefully at night. I’ve gotten to the point that I don’t sleep as well if I don’t drink a cup of tea before bed.
{2} Knowing that I have the best friends, family, and boyfriend I could ever ask for. I am so blessed to have these wonderful people in my life.
{3} Virginia Tech football. Actually, just Virginia Tech in general. I could not be happier with the school I chose as my alma mater and I could not be prouder to have my bachelor’s degree from such an amazing institution.
{4} Loving the South. I am Southern by the grace of God and proud of it. North Carolina born and Georgia raised…what more could I ask for? If you’re lucky enough to be Southern, you’re lucky enough.
{5} Disney movies. Period. There’s nothing like throwing a Disney movie into my DVD player to get me through a chunk of homework during the week or on the weekend.
{6} The gift of art. Written, spoken, visual, performance, it doesn’t matter. I’m so glad that I have so many different outlets with which to express myself and share my talents. Music, creative writing, and painting keep me sane.
{7} Traveling and planning new adventures. I’ve seen lots of places and cities and countries, but there are so many more that I haven’t seen. There will always be some corner of the world that I will want to see and explore. Where will I go next?
{8} My kitty cat, Bows. She’s adorable and loving and a wonderful animal companion. I’m so glad my parents found her and brought her home. She keeps us on our toes.
{9} Wearing scarves and chunky sweaters and boots. Thank goodness fall is upon us and I’ll be able to enjoy my fall wardrobe soon! I love being warm and comfortable, and that’s what fall fashion is all about.
{10} Being me. That’s all I really need to say there, right?
And now, I’m tagging Jordan, Lisa, and Erica to post about ten things that make them happy, too!
