I’ve been on a Disney kick lately…more specifically, a Hercules kick. I loved this movie when it first came out (1997, woof I’m old), and it gets better and funnier each time I watch it. The fact that it’s on Netflix (and I own the DVD) makes it easier to feed this kick.
Last week, I wrote about going the distance, as was inspired by young Herc’s revelation. Not gonna lie, I heard Michael Bolton’s version of that song on the radio the other day, and I shamelessly belted along with him. But that’s beside the point. After watching the movie again this past week (more than once, maybe…), I realized this movie has a lot to teach us. It’s full of valuable lessons that we should remember in our own lives. Disney’s great about that, isn’t it?
