August is National Peach Month—a whole month dedicated to the South’s favorite fruit. In past years, I’ve shared peach recipes throughout the summer, or for one specific week in August. This year, I’m celebrating peaches all month long, and I’m kicking off Peach Month with a Southern favorite: sweet, tart Peach Lemonade.
It’s the holiday season, and it’s finally getting cold here in Tennessee. In fact, we’ve had several quite chilly days in the last few weeks, and there were even sightings of some snow flurries last week! I’ll pass on the snow, but bring on the warm spices and hot drinks!
It’s still August and the pumpkin spice craze is already here. I joked last year that I don’t get into pumpkin-y things until we’re in a month that ends in -ber, but this year, Starbucks didn’t really give me a choice.
