Another year, another holiday season, another, “oh my goodness, the year is basically over” moment. But seriously, I swear it was just February, and now 2018 nearly over. But y’all know what that means? Another holiday Instagram challenge! If you liked last year’s December Instagram challenge, then I have a feeling you’ll enjoy this year’s, too.
They say fall is the best time for a change, so now I have a new website! I absolutely LOVE how it turned out, and my designer did an incredible job. More on that over on my Instagram. But for now, let’s celebrate fall and the holiday season (and my new website, obviously) with some tasty beverages! I’ve been working on some fabulous fall drinks and I’m excited to share a few with y’all today.
Can y’all believe the holidays are just around the corner? I’m already starting to think about what my family and I will eat on Thanksgiving. I swear it feels like I was just writing my September Friday Five post. Do I say that every month? Maybe that’s because I didn’t blog a whole lot this month—sorry, y’all, lots going on behind the scenes! Either way, the end of October is near and it’s time for another edition of Friday Five.
Who doesn’t love a good biscuit? If you ask me, breakfast and/or brunch should always include a biscuit. Or sometimes, breakfast or brunch should just be a biscuit. Fortunately for biscuit enthusiasts like myself, Chattanooga has plenty of places to enjoy a tasty biscuit, almost any time of day.
I absolutely love grits. I don’t know how old I was the first time I had them, but I was young enough for their deliciousness to be engrained in my mind forever. My parents and both sets of grandparents made them almost every weekend, and often loaded them up with cheese. So as far as I’m concerned, cheese grits are the only way to go.
