I’m officially a fan of these silly food holidays. I’m also a huge fan of fresh peaches. And as we all know already, I’m a huge fan of baked goods. So, in honor of National Donut Day, I’m combining all of those things together to bring y’all Baked Peach Donuts.
Memorial Day Weekend has come and passed, so now it’s basically summer. Peaches are starting to appear at my farmers market, and I’m already excited for all the ways I can use them in cooking and cocktails. First up is my take on a classic gin cocktail with peach and basil.
Have you ever baked desserts with craft beer? I’ve made some pretty tasty beer brownies, but that’s about the extent of my beer-baking experience. However, several weeks ago, my friends and I were inspired by some of the weird, “trendy” beers that popped up, and we had to try some things of our own.
Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! I usually roll my eyes at all these food holidays, but any excuse to bake cookies is good enough in my book. Chocolate chip cookies are a timeless classic, and nothing beats one warm out of the oven.
Let’s start with a question: What’s your favorite cocktail? I’m a bourbon girl, so nine times out of ten, I opt for a bourbon cocktail. While I always love a good Old Fashioned, it’s hard to beat a frosty, classic mint julep this time of year.
