In one of the buildings–Mr. Daniel’s original office, I believe–there was this sign hanging on the wall:
The Jack Daniels distillers ensure that every drop of whiskey they produce is the best it can be, from step one to the final seal on the bottle. They do a good job of that, don’t you think?
I think this mantra can definitely be applied to endeavors outside of whiskey-making, which is why I snapped a picture of this sign. Everything we do, we should do it to the best of our abilities, with fervor and passion, with faith that we’re doing what we’re meant to be doing. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing…do it the best you can. Make an impression. Work hard. Hustle. Grow and learn something new. Discover a new talent. Your dreams don’t work unless you do, right?
So, every day you make or do something, make or do it the best you can. Jasper Newton Daniel (aka Jack Daniel himself) surely did.
How can you do the best you can every day?
