Lately I’ve battled some negativity and doubts in my own life. I worry about finding a job, moving after school, getting through school, my relationships with family and friends, and pursuing my dream of being a writer almost daily. In an honest moment, sometimes it’s hard to remind myself that I’ve already accomplished so much in my 23 years, that I have so much going for me, that I will meet my dream and be a successful writer. Fears and doubts get in the way of positivity, and then I have to push the negative thoughts away.

Well, you can’t let it get you down. I know that’s easier said than done, as many things in life are. Today, I’m going to help you battle negativity and be happy and positive. I’m sharing my tips on how I combat negativity in my life, even when it’s difficult. When I keep these ideas in mind, I feel so much better and my outlook changes.

Finally, remember that happiness lies within you. Having a positive outlook is ultimately your decision. At some point, a switch will flip, and you’ll wonder how all those negative thoughts, fears and doubts ever got inside your mind. Let positivity be your best friend.
