Welcome to Chattanooga
Whether you call it the Scenic City, Gig City, "that town halfway between Atlanta and Nashville" or anything else, Chattanooga is a city worth an exploration. It's a city rich in history, Southern charm and some of the best eating and drinking below the Mason-Dixon Line. And it all gets better each and every day.
When I moved to Chattanooga in 2015, it had been more than a decade since I'd spent any significant time here. I knew it had changed, but it was only after I was settled and started meeting people and exploring on my own that I realized just how much this city has been through. The perseverance and pride comes through in almost everyone I meet, and that's one of the many, many things that makes Chattanooga a special place to live.
Okay, enough about all that. Here are all my posts about visiting Chattanooga and everything you should see, eat and do while you're here.
I hope you plan to be here for a few days—Chattanooga has so much to offer.
Things to Do
Get ready for all kinds of Scenic City adventures—Chattanooga has it all.
My parents don't even live here and they even have their favorite Chattanooga restaurants. The food scene here is nothing to sneeze at.
