Life can get pretty stressful at times, especially when you stay as busy as I do. My mile-long to-do list often looks pretty overwhelming. Even if you don’t actively feel stressed, it’s important to practice self care and stress management, so you can avoid a mega-stress moment and keep anxiety to a minimum.
My friend Caroline over at Adventures in Nonsense started a Friday Five series, where she highlights five awesome things from the month, on the last Friday of the month. Y’all, it’s National Wine and Cheese Day. This might be one of my new favorite food holidays. What better way to celebrate this day than with… well, wine and cheese? Time to build a cheese board! And the best news is, you don’t have to break the bank to build a gorgeous and delicious cheese board.
If there’s one thing I am unashamedly “geeky” about, it’s kitchen items. I could spend hours at Bed Bath & Beyond browsing all the gadgets. There’s just so many! I wish there were Sur La Table or Le Creuset stores closer to Chattanooga, but I guess it’s better for my bank account that there’s not.
Raise your hand if you’ve ever owned and used a planner. Raise your hand if you stopped using it after a month or two because it wasn’t working, for whatever reason. My hand just shot up in the air, because that happened to me so many times. In fact, I tried three different planners to find what worked for me, and none of them did.
